Horizon
Developed by Horizon Egypt, Sa'ada Sahel is a premium coastal resort in Ras El Hekma designed around a highly engineered "Lagoon-First" master plan spanning 125 acres. The spatial distribution limits the built-up area footprint to just 15%, optimizing the remaining 85% for civil landscaping, artificial lakes, and crystal-clear lagoons that dynamically snake through the residential zones. To counter flat terrain limitations and guarantee panoramic Mediterranean Sea views for its 550 villas and 136 chalets, the site utilizes an engineered leveling/elevation concept. This multi-tiered structural grading works in tandem with a 500-to-600-meter pristine beachfront and an integrated private marina, seamlessly harmonizing civil grading with coastal fluid dynamics.
From a structural and environmental engineering perspective, the project emphasizes sustainable architectural integration and high-performance material selection. Buildings are constructed using eco-friendly, energy-efficient materials painted in calm, heat-reflective tones to minimize thermal load. The architectural facades integrate expansive, high-durability glass windows that maximize natural illumination while managing structural thermal insulation against harsh coastal climates. The property's robust civil infrastructure is built for reliability, featuring quick-operating standby backup generators to mitigate power distribution failures, modern integrated drainage systems, a high-tech medical area, and seamlessly integrated 24/7 smart security networks utilizing centralized CCTV surveillance systems across all residential and commercial zones.
